Underdog ROI Guarantee
Measurable Goals.
A Guarantee in Writing.
We believe accountability should be part of the service. Every campaign starts with measurable goals based on your service, package, market and starting position, and the qualifying goals are documented for your campaign.
If we miss those qualifying goals, we match the applicable services with an equivalent service period at no additional cost, provided all client responsibilities, access requirements, approvals and timelines have been met.
Qualifying goals for this service period
- Goals written into the Order Form
- Onboarding and access complete
- Approvals and feedback on time
- Progress reported through the cycle
- Quarterly review against the goals
What the guarantee says
Our Team Stands Behind the Strategy We Build.
The Underdog Guarantee is a service commitment. It ties our work to goals you can see in writing, and it tells you exactly what we do if those goals are missed.
The guarantee, in full
We establish measurable goals based on your service, package, market and starting position. If we miss the qualifying goals documented for your campaign, we will match the applicable services with an equivalent service period at no additional cost, provided all client responsibilities, access requirements, approvals and timelines have been met.
The Underdog Guarantee applies to qualifying services. Full terms apply and are set out in your signed agreement.
What it covers
- The qualifying goals documented for your campaign
- The applicable services in your Service Election or Order Form
- A matched service period at no additional cost when the conditions are met
What it does not promise
No agency controls Google, AI platforms or your competitors. Our agreement does not guarantee a particular ranking, search position, traffic volume, lead volume, conversion rate, revenue amount or return on investment unless a separate written guarantee expressly states otherwise.
How goals are set
Goals Built on Your Facts.
Then Put in Writing.
We do not pull targets from a template. Four things shape what we can responsibly commit to for your campaign.
01
Your service
SEO, PPC, social media and website work move different numbers. The goal follows the service you buy.
02
Your package
Starter, Growth and Dominator differ in depth, pace and reach. The goal matches the scope you purchase.
03
Your market
Competition, customer demand and geography decide what is realistic in a 90-day cycle.
04
Your starting position
Website condition, history, authority and existing tracking set the baseline we measure from.
Where the commitment lives
A measurable commitment exists only when it is expressly stated in your executed Service Election, Order Form, statement of work or a written amendment. Forecasts, projections, estimates and sales conversations are strategic objectives. They help us plan, and they do not create a guarantee on their own.
How progress is measured
Clear Reporting.
Reviewed Every Quarter.
Measurement depends on the service and the goal. We track what can be observed and report it in plain terms, so you always know where the campaign stands.
Relevant visibility
Are the right service and location pages appearing for the searches you want to win?
Qualified visits
Are people reaching pages connected to your priority services, markets and offers?
Inquiries and actions
Are visitors calling, submitting forms or booking, where tracking is available?
Completed work
What the team delivered, why it matters and what comes next.
Inside each 90-day cycle
01
Baseline
We confirm your goals, access, priority services, markets, competitors and existing performance.
02
Reporting
You get reporting and strategy updates on the cadence your package includes.
03
Quarterly review
We compare results with the qualifying goals documented for your campaign.
04
Next plan
Findings shape the next priorities. Renewal is always your decision.
Continuing campaigns run on calendar quarters: Q1 is January through March, Q2 April through June, Q3 July through September and Q4 October through December. See the Underdog Process
What qualifies
The Guarantee Works When We Both Do Our Part.
Our results depend on access, approvals and timing. These are the client responsibilities the guarantee is conditioned on, taken from our service agreement.
Your side of the commitment
- Complete onboarding within seven business days of our request
- Provide required access: website or CMS, domain and DNS, analytics and Search Console, and ad or social accounts when they apply
- Give approvals or revision requests through our designated communication process
- Respond reasonably promptly, attend required meetings and send consolidated feedback
- Make payments when due and keep required third-party accounts active
- Tell us about material changes to your business
When timelines slip
A client-caused delay extends affected production dates by at least the length of the delay. Delayed credentials, missed meetings, missing content and late approvals are common examples.
Our side
We deliver the agreed scope, keep you informed and review results against the documented goals. Read the Service Guarantee
If a goal is missed
No Excuses.
More Service Time.
When a qualifying goal is not met and the conditions were met on your side, the remedy is simple and stated up front.
01
Review the record
We compare results with the qualifying goals documented in your Service Election or Order Form.
02
Confirm the conditions
We check that client responsibilities, access requirements, approvals and timelines were met.
03
Match the service period
We match the applicable services with an equivalent service period at no additional cost.
04
Put the time to work
The matched period follows a plan built on what the reporting showed, with the same team.
Good to know: the measurement period, calculation, client obligations and available remedies for any ROI commitment are specified in the signed service agreement. Package names such as Dominator describe the service level and do not create an unstated performance guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
Straight Answers About the Guarantee.
What it covers, what it does not and how it is decided. If your question is about your own campaign, your signed agreement is the final word.
Still have questions?
Talk to the team directly. Call (919) 823-7924 or send us a message.
Does Underdog guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue?
No. Our agreement does not guarantee a particular Google ranking, search position, traffic volume, lead volume, conversion rate, revenue amount, return on investment or business outcome unless a separate written guarantee expressly states otherwise. The Underdog Guarantee is a service commitment tied to the qualifying goals documented for your campaign.
What exactly does the Underdog Guarantee promise?
If we miss the qualifying goals documented for your campaign, we match the applicable services with an equivalent service period at no additional cost. That applies when all client responsibilities, access requirements, approvals and timelines have been met.
How are my goals decided?
We establish measurable goals based on your service, package, market and starting position. We talk through them with you, and the qualifying goals are documented for your campaign. A free strategy session is the place to start that conversation.
Do forecasts from a sales call count as a commitment?
No. Goals, forecasts, targets, projections and estimates are strategic objectives. Calls, chats and preliminary strategy conversations do not create a guarantee or change a measurable commitment unless they are written into your executed Service Election, Order Form, statement of work or a written amendment.
Which packages include an ROI commitment?
Qualifying packages may include a defined ROI commitment. The applicable measurement period, calculation, client obligations and available remedies are specified in the signed service agreement, so you will see them before you sign.
What if my onboarding or approvals run late?
Onboarding is due within seven business days of our request. A client-caused delay extends affected production dates by at least the length of the delay. Because the guarantee depends on responsibilities, access, approvals and timelines being met, delays on the client side can affect whether it applies.
How will I know if the campaign is on track?
You receive reporting and strategy updates that explain completed work, changes in relevant visibility and traffic, measurable inquiries where tracking is available, and the next priorities. Each quarter we review results against the documented goals. See how quarterly billing works.
Does a package name like Dominator imply a result?
No. Terms such as Dominator, advanced or priority describe the service level and approach. A measurable commitment exists only when it is expressly stated in your executed Service Election, Order Form, statement of work or written amendment.
